Some people collect baseball cards. Some people collect comic books. Some people collect pogs. Well, they did in 1991. I collect autographs. I have since I was thirteen years old. Growing up in NYC, I was engaged in the theatre scene from very early on. The first show I remember going to was "The Secret Garden" in 1991 and I was enraptured. My mom likes to tell people that she took me to the Radio City Christmas show when I was four and I've been hooked on theatre ever since then. That led to a love of all different kinds of entertainment. I have immersed myself in the world for years now and the fruits of my labors are collections of celebrity autographs and photographs that fill my room.

My family has urged me for years to write down my experiences but I was lazy, hesitant, and computer illiterate. Now the time has come for me to share my encounters with the world. Below is a list of all the people I have met. A rating follows them, which serves as a general guideline for what the experience was like. To read the entire encounter, just click on the link. America especially is obsessed with the notion of celebrity and it is time for the truth to come out as to who is naughty and who is nice.

For now, I'm just going to try to jot down the many experiences I've had and I've invented my own ratings system because, yes, I am that intelligent. My $150,000 college education should count for something, dammit. As a general key:

RATING SYSTEM

* = you voted for Bush, didn't you?
** = at least you're rich because your attitude kind of sucks
*** = you're like a Reese Witherspoon movie...average in every way
**** = Ebert and that idiot critic give you two thumbs up
***** = I'm going to write a poem about the wonders of you

As with everything, these ratings are very much influenced by my personal opinion of the celebrity. For example, in my twisted brain, the five seconds I spent gazing into Jennifer Aniston's soul are equivalent to a day with just about anyone else.
